Yazid Taalba

Yazid Taalba holds a degree in Banking and Finance from the Higher School of Banking (ESB) and completed postgraduate studies in Banking Management at the Higher Institute of Management and Planning (ISGP). An expert in corporate finance and strategic advisory for manufacturing and service companies, he began his career in the credit department of BDL before building more than eighteen years of private equity experience across Algeria and Africa with the Africinvest Group. He has participated in the fundraising of several investment funds and has been involved in the origination, negotiation, structuring, and execution of numerous private equity transactions, covering both investment and exit phases. As a board member of several Algerian companies backed by private equity funds, he has also led due diligence engagements, financial modeling, and business plan development, as well as legal and financial negotiations related to acquisitions, share transfers, and shareholder dispute resolution. Yazid is also an entrepreneur and has contributed to the development of several companies and startups, including Qoblex, a cloud software company with a strong presence in the e-commerce sector across multiple countries. Since 2024, he has also led strategic and organizational advisory assignments for established companies in the telecommunications and fintech sectors.
