Biography
Ibtissam Abdellaoui holds a PhD in Statistics and Applied Economics (with Highest Honours, 2018) and a Habilitation as Associate Professor, Class A (2020), sitting at the intersection of teaching, banking, and entrepreneurial support. After several years at BADR Bank as a technical studies officer in development and later credit risk monitoring, she moved into higher education, where she served as Deputy Director and then Assistant Director of Graduate Studies at the Morsli Abdellah University Center in Tipaza. An Associate Professor since 2015, she has taught statistics, management control and financial mathematics at numerous institutions (University Center of Tipaza, EHEC Kolea, INSIM/HIMI Blida, Algerian Petroleum Institute), notably training SONATRACH executives in forecasting and budget analysis. Since 2021, she has directed the Entrepreneurship Development Center at the École des Hautes Études Commerciales and serves as a member of its incubator, while also sitting on national commissions, including one at the Ministry of Foreign Trade on the control of service imports, and the Board of Directors of ANGEM.
