Creating Possibilities. Shaping Leaders.

About AIM

A new business school for a new generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, and change-makers.

AIM – Algerian Institute of Management is Algeria's new English-first business school for a new generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals, built to develop the soft skills and competencies that truly matter in today's world.

Our ambition is to redefine management education in Algeria by combining academic excellence, experiential learning, international perspectives, and strong connections with the world of business and entrepreneurship.

We have imagined AIM for students who want more than a degree, for those who aspire to understand organizations, solve complex problems, create opportunities, lead projects, and make a meaningful contribution to society. Here, learning happens by doing: through real projects, structured internships, case studies, close mentorship, and faculty who have proven themselves on the national and international stage.

In a world reshaped by technology, global competition, and new economic realities, AIM prepares students not only for careers, but for leadership, adaptability, and lifelong growth.

Mission

To develop entrepreneurial, globally minded, and responsible leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals equipped with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to create value, drive change, and contribute to the prosperity of organizations and society.

Our raison d'être is to generate and share knowledge that improves organizations and businesses, and drives sustainable socioeconomic development across Algeria.

Vision

To become one of North Africa's leading business schools — a management knowledge hub influential across Algeria, Africa, and the Mediterranean, recognized for educational innovation, academic and research excellence, entrepreneurial spirit, and meaningful impact on society.

Values

Proximity

We stay close to practitioners and organizations (public, private, and non-profit) because knowledge only creates value when it meets the real world. It is through this closeness and collaboration that we will rise to the great challenges ahead.

Responsibility

Honesty, transparency, and kindness guide every interaction at AIM. We train our students to carry that same integrity forward, acting with accountability and care throughout their careers.

Impact

We value relevance in everything we do to create lasting impact for our students, for the organizations we prepare them to serve, and for Algerian society, not just a diploma.

Mindset

Leadership and entrepreneurial mindset are what separate ideas from action and impact. We cultivate the communication, judgment, and people skills of real leaders, and the drive to challenge the status quo, think big, and guide teams and change before being asked to.

Excellence

We value excellence at every level: in the quality of our academic content, the rigor of our learning process, the expertise of our teachers and researchers, and the experience we create for our students.

Our approach

We believe that all learning is ultimately driven by the learner. In other words, people learn only when they are motivated to do so and actively engage in the learning process. The role of the instructor is therefore to inspire the desire to learn and to create an environment that fosters both individual and collective learning.

Small cohorts, close faculty interaction, and strong ties to business and entrepreneurship create a personalized environment where every student is challenged, supported, and encouraged to grow.

Our educational approach is built around three core principles:

  • Discussion and debate are powerful drivers of intellectual engagement and learning.
  • The case method, inspired by Harvard Business School and based on the analysis of real-world organizational and managerial situations, is at the heart of our pedagogy because of its proven effectiveness over decades.
  • Experiential learning, which combines action and reflection in a continuous, iterative process, is equally essential in enabling learners to develop lasting knowledge and skills.

This is why AIM is so different. Learn Differently.
