Biography
Malek Guira has been an Advisor to the Director General of the Algeria Press Service (APS) since 2023 and brings more than fifteen years of service to senior Algerian institutions. He has served as Chief of Staff of the National Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CNESE), Director of Studies at the Ministry of Communication, Advisor for the digital policy of the APS, the National People's Assembly and the Public Television Establishment, as well as Advisor to the Prime Minister. He holds a Master's degree in Social Sciences specialising in Polemology (War Studies) from Marc Bloch University in Strasbourg, and his areas of expertise cover economic development, international policy and geopolitics, technological diplomacy ("TechPlomacy"), digital and social media policy, think tanks and media intelligence. He has led special projects such as the EuroArab.TV platforms and the "Algiers Capital" portal (Alger TV). He is trilingual in Arabic, French and English.
