Biography
Kamel Boussafi is a research professor holding the rank of Professor at the Higher School of Commerce (ESC) in Koléa, where he has taught since 1997. He holds a State Doctorate in Management from the University of Algiers (2006), a Magister and a Bachelor's degree in Planning, and completed a Trainer Certification at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona (2004). He led the Higher School of Commerce as Director General from 2019 to 2024, having previously served as Deputy Director for Information Systems, Communication and External Relations. Deeply involved in the academic management of higher education, he coordinated the design of several master's and bachelor's programmes and contributed, within MESRS expert teams, to securing the ENST's academic accreditation. His research focuses on Islamic and participatory finance, social enterprise, social and technological innovation, and the Maghreb economy, and he has led several national (PRFU, CNEPRU) and international (PHC TASSILI) research projects. He has also supervised numerous doctoral theses and magister and master's dissertations.
