Biography
Tchiko Faouzi is a Full Professor of Economics and Finance at the École Supérieure d'Économie d'Oran, with more than two decades of academic experience, including thirteen years as Dean and ten as Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economic, Commercial and Management Sciences at the University of Mascara. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Tlemcen on financial crises in emerging countries, complemented by doctoral training at CEDIMES in Paris, and his areas of expertise cover applied macroeconomics in emerging economies, financial crises, economic governance, and the social and solidarity economy. Founding President, since 2011, of the CEDIMES Academic Network's International Doctoral School and Director of CEDIMES Algeria, he has also directed the Maghreb Review of Economics and Management since 2011 and has chaired several international conferences. Author of numerous articles published in international journals and presented at conferences across Europe, North America and Africa, he has supervised the successful completion of several doctoral theses and has served on Algeria's High Authority for Election Monitoring since 2017.
